Solo performances by Anderskov draw upon sources, elements and estetics from his larger ensembles, mixed with an at times cleaner approach - but still with an unmistakeble Anderskov signature.

Until recently, Anderskov's solo repertoire tended to be a mixture of Anderskov originals, standards and traditional Danish songs, but lately this has changed, so that the concerts tend to be completely improvised.
The improvisational approach has been more focused on presence and awareness than on stylistical preferences. However, to attempt a description, the music draws on diverse sources, from comtemporary improvised & composed music through various world musics to elements from traditional classical music and jazz.

Near the end of an extended solo tour of Scandinavia in October 2006, Anderskov recorded his first acoustic solo piano CD, "Panta Rhei", which was released by ILK on November 5th, 2007.
