How does a cry for cosmic reasonability sound, when coming from an agnostic? Would GODOT himself have liked to show up that infamous meeting if he'd been able to? And will there ever be a bossa on a Doctor Structure CD?
The music on GODOT ... stuck in traffic is the succesful result of a strong condensation of the band's vast live repertoire.
Since it’s foundation in 1997, Doctor Structure has been breaking a new kind of energy on the Danish jazz scene. The first CD with the band was released in April 2001 and awarded with a Danish Music Award 2002.
The music is unpolished, with personality and a big heart. It is innovative & extrovert, warm blooded & sparkling, drawn directly from the underground.
Composed as well as free zones succeed & overlap with expressive ease. This is a strongly involving process with a very high degree of personal commitment and output from the 5 musicians.
